Sutherland Shire

One Meal – Sutherland Shire was established in July 2016, initially with one weekly Sunday service at Sutherland. Following the success of this Sutherland service, and with the support of the local community and a number of local businesses, One Meal – Sutherland Shire has grown to provide well over one-hundred meals each week at four meal services across the Shire.

Our services are held at

Meal service patrons are provided with breakfast packs to take away and further assisted where possible with clothing items, blankets, toiletries etc. We do our best to support our patrons however we can.

We have strong relationships with other not-for-profits in the area and can provide referrals into case management and a variety of counseling services. This has proven to provide significant benefit to a number of our patrons.

One Meal – Sutherland Shire is also proud to collaborate with Hopefield Services, Shire Salvos and Orana to deliver at least 1000 meals per week into the Shire each week through Community Co-op Sutherland Shire – more info in Our Programs.

COVID-19 Update

One Meal has taken considerable steps to manage the risks of COVID-19. We ask that our patrons assist us in maintaining social distancing, good hygiene and adhere to any restrictions that may be in place as required by NSW Health.

Please do not attend if you:

Have a temperature
Are having flu-like symptoms
Have been in close contact with anyone returning from overseas in the last two weeks
Chose to self-isolate yourself, or are in compulsory self-isolation
Have COVID19 or are in quarantine
